Enjoy the history of how the town of Conil was forged around a trade such as artisanal fishing and the almadraba. Sail along our coasts and see the fishermen's quarter from the sea.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE

On this route, we will depart from the fishing pier of Conil, and we will sail towards the fishing grounds where our fishing boats fish, to discover the different types of artisanal fishing used by these fishermen of Conil de la Frontera. Once we are in the fishing grounds, you will be able to see live how these fishing boats fish, the gear they use, the species they catch and everything you want to know about these traditional fishing arts.

We will show you how they store and take their catch to the port of Conil, which is the snow water, guaranteeing that the fish arrives with the maximum quality and freshness, and thanks to this, these fish have the certified designation of origin, with the brand of ‘Pescado de Conil’.

If you wish, you can extend this experience with a guided tour of the fishing port of Conil, where you can watch the fish being unloaded from the quayside. And for children and the more curious, you can ask the skipper to show you the different types of knots used by these fishermen on their fishing boats, completing the learning of this traditional sector.

If, for any reason beyond the control of Golah Charter Company, no fishing boat from Conil has gone out that day or if they are fishing too far from the coast, we will complete the route with the explanations of the audio guides and we will continue sailing along the coast, so that you can get to know the beaches and coves of Conil de la Frontera, until the total time of the route is completed.

The duration of the route is approx. 2 hours.

If the activity booked does not meet the minimum capacity of 5 people, Golah Charter may opt for operational cancellation, notifying the client within 24 hours prior to the activity, offering him/her:

-The total refund (100%) of all amounts paid for the cancelled activity, within a maximum period of 10 working days.
