There was a time when people only looked out to sea, when the border with the most feared was in the lands of the coastal Janda. The villages were watchtowers against invasions, their inhabitants protected themselves by building these watchtowers, faithful companions of the wind and the sea.

They guarded the riches of the sea, the tuna and defended their neighbours against attacks by corsairs.

Permanent witnesses of the dance between man and the sea, knowledgeable of the struggles between peoples for more than 500 years, the towers stand stoically on our coasts. Only with us, you will be able to learn about the episodes of history to which they have been eternal witnesses.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE:

On this route, we will depart from the fishing dock of Conil, and we will sail calmly so that you can enjoy the wonderful landscapes of our coastline, visiting its beaches and coves, such as the famous Cala del Aceite, the cliffs of Puntalejo and Fuente del Gallo, the beach of Fontanilla and just in front of the town of Conil, the beaches of Chorrillo and Bateles. We will continue along the coast, spotting the different watchtowers such as the Guzmán tower located in the village of Conil, which stands out among the white houses, the Castilnovo tower located on the Castilnovo beach between Conil and El Palmar, the Trafalgar tower located in the famous Trafalgar lighthouse, and finally the Roche tower located in the Roche lighthouse just above the port of Conil, where we can see it on the way back to the port. In all these towers, you will learn about their history and the importance of all of them for the town of Conil and its surroundings, through the audioguides (available in several languages).

The duration of the routes is approx. 1.5 hours.

RECOMMENDATIONS / OBSERVATIONS:

-Arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the booked activity.

-Carry identity documents.

-Don't forget your sunscreen.

-Pets are not allowed

-Departures according to weather operability.

If the activity booked does not meet the minimum capacity of 5 people, Golah Charter may opt for operational cancellation, notifying the client within 24 hours prior to the activity, offering him/her:

-An alternative route

-The total refund (100%) of all amounts paid for the cancelled activity, within a maximum period of 10 working days.
